by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Nov. 1, 2007

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4381 --- Comment #9 from Peter Åstrand <peter(a)cendio.se> 2007-11-01 08:41:13 --- Created an attachment (id=8912) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=8912) Patch sent to wine-patches This is a copy of the patch sent to the wine-devel mailing list (http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.wine.patches/23150) just for reference. The application Magna Cura suffers from this problem as well, and I can confirm that this patch fixes the problem. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 5828] Command and Conquer Generals (Zero Hour) doesn' t change the mouse cursor from the default X mouse
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Nov. 1, 2007

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5828 --- Comment #34 from Vit Hrachovy <vit.hrachovy(a)sandbox.cz> 2007-11-01 08:21:52 --- It would be nice to clean it up so it's included. The patch is not ready to go into the tree for more than a year, but compiles and works as expected. Thanks to Alexander for including this in 1.0 list. It's nice to have a solution for problem at hand but compiling every release of Wine only due to this one bug is not so exciting. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5828 --- Comment #33 from Martin Jürgens <martin(a)gamesplace.info> 2007-11-01 08:20:30 --- Alex, what does "they are not ready for inclusion" mean? What are the reasons for not applying them to Wine? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5828 --- Comment #32 from Alexander Nicolaysen Sørnes <alex(a)thehandofagony.com> 2007-11-01 08:11:48 --- Fixing it to apply cleanly will not change the fact that it is not ready for inclusion. But if they don't apply anymore I could try to fix that. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5828 --- Comment #31 from Martin Jürgens <martin(a)gamesplace.info> 2007-11-01 07:08:53 --- I doubt that a ripped patch should be used because it "just works" - we do not know what the hunks failing exactly do. I think that we should port the patch to git and send it to the Wine ML: http://www.winehq.org/site/sending_patches I tried to do it, but I failed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Still reporting the same bug in 0.9.48 LOTR: BFME and LOTR:BFME2. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

The issue with the US version of the SlingPlayer is still there.
