Presumably you're supposed to click on "Browse CD", navigate to Software/AutoCAD 2002 Trial, and run SETUP.EXE there. That launches your browser on a web page, file:///media/cdrom0/Software/AutoCAD%202002%20Trial/index.htm which uses an iframe to show the contents of SOURCE/TRIAL/BATCH, and that doesn't display as expected in firefox. All that does is launch ../build/setup.exe, and that relative path only works if the current directory is right. Whew. I can confirm that Heroes IV is broken in 0.9.37, while working in 0.9.36.
