Using a Yamaha YMF-754 sound card. I think this should definitely be classified as a _major_ bug. From what I can see in the traces and other comments, this is happening with a wide variety of sound controllers, so that would (in my inexperienced mind) eliminate driver issues. Partial trace attached. I have no kernel src so wasn't looking at "struct joydev".
