Meaning: If you look the "correct" way (away from the water source) and/or keep enough distance, the textures return to normal. Also: When saving in a "dark area" and reloading, the textures are normal until the water is reloaded (backtracking, and then turning around) or you enter the water. Only starting it from outside this directory works. So Wine is perfectly compatible here. I'll close this bug now as FIXED. Using different OffscreenRenderingMode's doesn't solve the problem. In my case, it is reproducible at the start of the second level, always at the same location. If you enable all effects you will also see water reflection applied to the whole screen (see bug 7775).
