Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: P2 Component: wine-programs AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: tmagrann(a)wavecable.com Since upgrading from version 9.37 to 9.38 the Steam gaming service no longer works. Logins fail with "Could not connect to Steam network This could be due to a problem with your Internet connection or with the Steam network Please visit www.steampowered com for more info" No malfunction with my internet connection or the Steam servers was found. Some comments in the WineHQ apps database from other users indicate that version 9.38 has broken Steam functionality and some users have reported having to roll back to version 9.37 to get Steam working again.
