That's what happens when you drink too much before lunch. I think what got me was that $ winepath -u ".\Components\" seems to get me stuck in an endless list of appends. (It's that final \ of course.) What's really puzzling about this is that even when Components is copied into c:/Program Files/Components/TAL3DEngine the game fails.
