However the error path taken in dlls/ntdll/serial.c from 0.9.23 when TIOCGICOUNT fails is different, and the application takes a different code path and calls IOCTL_SERIAL_CLR_DTR, which it doesn't seem to do in 0.9.22. My patch should have fixed that, but you say it didn't help. Can you attach the output of: WINEDEBUG='+comm' wine app.exe &> /tmp/log.txt with my patch? Winetricks did not help. But I compiled and installed version 1.1.6 manualy and now comctl32 override works as expected. I use Mandriva 2009 64bit, but problem was confirmed on 32bit Mandriva too. It puts up the small initializing UI, then sits for about a minute before putting up the EULA. When you tell it to go, it fails with a problem report dialog pointing to three files.
