You'll see a one-pixel-wide rendering artifact. However, sending EM_POSFROMCHAR for character 0 returns 0 as the x co-ordinate with Wine's richedit. I'll see if I can't fix this myself. As for a testcase, this will be noticeable in builtin wordpad once I send the first ruler patch.
