When I first start the game, everything except the leftmost 1/8 or so of the screen is corrupted by a sort of kaleidoscope effect. Subsequent starts of the game were somewhat better, and only showed corruption upon scrolling or zooming. I was fiddling with -d:OpenGL at the time, but that didn't seem to do much of anything for me. You can, however, move back the other way. The total available movement is just limited to 180 degrees w/o lifting off the mouse button. Add this line or simple delete motd.txt - connect normally.
