In 1.1.4 patching works. Attaching a log, will do regression testing in a few days (as soon as my time allows). Speaking about workarounds, symlinking all .cab files from original Office 2003 distributive to $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/windows/Installer is working as one. I keep having to go into the process list and ending these processes manually. In 2000 and XP it is in C:\Documents and Settings\ In Vista it is in C:\Users\ We should consider moving it and providing symlinks in all the old places, especially when we are in "Vista mode". Other people have played the game without reporting this issue, but for me (and some others) the characters have messed up vertices - see the image attachment. Only happens on the characters, not background walls, etc (as far as I can tell). I've confirmed it exists in 1.1.5, 1.0 and 0.9.61.
