After much testing and seeing a strange difference between relay on builtin and snoop on native, I took a guess and changed the order of functions in spec file. That worked, but the more correct way is probably giving proper ordinals: 2 stdcall XInputGetState(long ptr) 3 stdcall XInputSetState(long ptr) 4 stdcall XInputGetCapabilities(long long ptr) 5 stdcall XInputEnable(long) 6 stdcall XInputGetDSoundAudioDeviceGuids(long ptr ptr) 7 stdcall XInputGetBatteryInformation(long ptr ptr) 8 stdcall XInputGetKeystroke(long long ptr) That works too, game no longer needs native xinput1_3. It's a collection of Buddhist texts, and very important for study in that culture. The first bug is big show stopper. The scrollbars don't work when reading text. Rolling back to 1.1.17 solved the problem. Not sure how to collect useful tracking information with wine. Please let me know then steps and will get the info. By design the program will go ahead and split the DVD over 4x 1GB files (ie MOVIE.I00, MOVIE.I01, MOVIE.I02) and create an MDS file to "link" the files together. It does this because it thinks the underlying filesystem does not support files bigger than 2Gb. The problem is that exiting linux tools to read/convert this MDS file simply does not work (I did try mdf2iso - didn't recognise the file). Even though everything works, it technically speaking makes DVD Shrink unusable since it is impossible to do something with the MDS file. I can confirm that the problem did not exist in Wine 1.1.15 - DVD shrink created ISO files as expected. Once I removed 1.1.18 and reverted back to 1.1.17 portal is now loading and running again. I got an error message that stated: (Exception EDBEngineError in module Portal.exe.
