Wine 1.1.25, Ubuntu 9.04 Had to set the following DLL overrides to native: dmime dmsynth dmusic dsound dswave l3codecx l3codecx native was required for music. Sound effects worked without it. I removed native overrides for dmime, dmsynth, dmusic, dsound, and dswave one by one and confirmed that sound doesn't start if any one of those overrides is missing. The change in behavior happened between wine 1.1.23 and 1.1.25. The colors appear all bluish and greyish. Strangely enough, this issue only occurs in Trillian Astra; I haven't seen this issue in any other program, or any of the earlier version of Trillian. The issue is simple enough. Any image with a transparent background appears black. The image will appear, however, the background, which is suppose to be transparent, is black. I will test this on Wine 1.0.25 later tonight after I get off work, running late enough as is. But, the issue has been here for as long as I can remember.
