Version 1.1.35 is in regression, as there are now many fixmes related to storage transacted mode, and file opening is really slow and occasionaly blocks the application. Saving new files works, but very slowly, but saving already existing files hangs most of the time Control-C in the terminal aborts saving process, and Solidworks display a message that saving was unsuccessful. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 9497] New: Fonts missing in visio 2003, present in Word, Excel 2003
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 3, 2010

Jan. 3, 2010

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9497 Summary: Fonts missing in visio 2003, present in Word, Excel 2003 Product: Wine Version: 0.9.36. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-resources AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: jokester01au(a)yahoo.com.au When running visio, only arial narrow, marlett, lucida and wingdings fonts appear in the font dialog and combo box. Other applications have the same fonts that are available to kde applications. Have tried numerous combinations of symlinking and/or duplicating the windows/fonts directory but nothing seems to change. Have also tried removing /usr/share/wine/fonts but this also makes no difference. Unable to test on newer wine version because visio doesn't run on anything newer (see bug 9422). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 21221] New: Team Fortress 2 causes X to leak memory
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 3, 2010

Jan. 3, 2010

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21221 Summary: Team Fortress 2 causes X to leak memory Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: signup+winehq(a)cshadowrun.com While i have team fortress 2 running, even if it's just sitting idle at the menu, X continually leaks memory. Here's some examples from top Just after restarting X, and starting TF2: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 18952 cshadowr 20 0 3440m 696m 45m R 16 8.7 0:33.55 hl2.exe 16685 root 20 0 694m 85m 22m S 0 1.1 0:37.16 Xorg After leaving it overnight: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 18952 cshadowr 20 0 3367m 696m 45m S 15 8.7 97:40.81 hl2.exe 16685 root 20 0 1907m 1.3g 23m S 0 16.2 12:16.79 Xorg I have 8GB of RAM, so 16.2% is about 1.3GB of RAM for Xorg. On occasions i've seen it go up to 80, 90%, making the computer eventually just freeze. Closing team fortress 2 does not free the memory and X still leaks regardless of if compiz is running. I've filed a bug against xorg on launchpad for this issue too. I used apport to collect data so there's alot of interesting reading material if anyone wants it. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/494064 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 5278] Edit control redraws its background incorrectly in 16-bit app
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 3, 2010

Jan. 3, 2010

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5278 --- Comment #27 from Saulius K. <saulius2(a)gmail.com> 2010-01-02 19:22:34 --- (In reply to comment #26) > Alexandre's done quite a bit of work on separating 16-bit from 32-bit, and > fixed several regressions in the process. Perhaps this one was fixed as well? > Please retest in current (git or 1.1.36) wine. Actually it seems to be Nikolay Sivov who fixed [2] the issue: commit ff12594a155848ff2a12bb66e6d31ccdc16571b1 Author: Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> Date: Wed Dec 30 17:33:05 2009 +0300 user32/uitools: Fix FillRect behaviour for invalid brush passed. Thank you, Nikolay. But some edit control and all static controls are being drawn incorrectly now -- with a white background (instead of grey). I think this bug could be closed and new should be opened. What do you, folks, think ?
