My testing showed that Wine-1.1.27 was the last version which rendered water correctly. Can I post the result of the regression test here, or a new bugreport should be opened? I roll back to wine-1.1.43 and Steam works without any erorrs. I was read many forum topics about the error trying theyr solutions, but no one solves the problem. Ok, now the most interest thing with wine-1.2-rc2: then I run "wine Steam" with WINEDEBUG=+relay - it works! but ofc very slowly(unplayable). The error is a regression and appeares on wine 1.1.28. The bug seems similar to bug #1733, but it is not the same, and it is not corrected on wine 1.2-rc2. After minimizing the application to tray I see that widgets inside are disappearing. Window is not restored correctly - I need to right-click and click close - the application doesn't crash, it runs in background correctly. This happens only when WINE windows are managed by local window manager (tried with Compiz and Metacity).
