http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25784 Summary: Crash while installing safesign_icbc_per.exe ( Driver for G&D USB-Shield) Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: crypt32 AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: fracting(a)gmail.com Created an attachment (id=32857) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=32857) Installing safesign_icbc_per.exe safesign_icbc_per.exe is the driver installer for G&D USB-Shield. G&D USB-Shield is the usbkey for ICBC online bank. The download page is here: http://goo.gl/yqL5w There are several drivers, the one I have tested is http://goo.gl/QmnFq . While installing safesign_icbc_per.exe, the installer is crashing. Here are the steps: 1. install mfc42 with winetricks (safesign_icbc_per.exe required mfc42) $ winetricks -q mfc42 2. install safesign_icbc_per.exe $ wine safesign_icbc_per.exe There will be an Error Dialog says, " The program regsvr32.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close " Attachment is the full log. If I install crypt32.dll with winetricks to replace wine builtin crypt32 , then there is no crash. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 421] Implement a DIB engine
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 5, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421 JPmx <jpmx23(a)gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |jpmx23(a)gmail.com --- Comment #403 from JPmx <jpmx23(a)gmail.com> 2011-02-04 19:29:50 CST --- I've been trying to see if Max' DIB engine implementation would have some performance improvements with FL Studio (version 9). However, when I try to launch the program with the "WINEDIB=ON" enviroment variable, I get the "Program error" window ("The program has encountered a serious problem and needs to close") and some errors to the terminal: fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_RealizeDefaultPalette STUB fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_RealizeDefaultPalette STUB err:dibdrv:_BITMAPLIST_Terminate Unfreed DIB found, handle is 0x3a4 err:dibdrv:_BITMAPLIST_Terminate Unfreed DIB found, handle is 0x378 fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_RealizeDefaultPalette STUB fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_RealizeDefaultPalette STUB err:dibdrv:_BITMAPLIST_Terminate Unfreed DIB found, handle is 0x3a4 err:dibdrv:_BITMAPLIST_Terminate Unfreed DIB found, handle is 0x378 fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_RealizePalette STUB fixme:win:LockWindowUpdate (0x200a8), partial stub! fixme:win:LockWindowUpdate ((nil)), partial stub! fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_UnrealizePalette STUB fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_PatBlt TEMPORARY - use BitBlt by now wine: Unhandled page fault on write access to 0x02572000 at address 0x0000:0x68797493 (thread 0009), starting debugger... fixme:dibdrv:DIBDRV_RealizeDefaultPalette STUB Using wine 1.3.10 with the latest set of patches (1.3.7), compiled just fine. Also have tried with earlier versions, same thing. And although it says "starting debugger", it never starts, the program just hangs after the "Program error" window. Eventually, I have to use 'kill' to stop the process. So, does anyone have any idea what's the thing with this? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 20576] New: Sluggish 2D graphics on BabasChess
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 4, 2011

Feb. 4, 2011

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20576 Summary: Sluggish 2D graphics on BabasChess Product: Wine Version: 1.1.31 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: jonathan.natewood(a)gmail.com Created an attachment (id=24550) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=24550) Terminal output Making moves is incredibly sluggish, everything is very slow. >From the official website support: "Why is the piece movement slow? Why is there a delay when I make a move on the board? BabasChess uses a double-buffering technique to draw the board without flickering; unfortunately, on a few video cards this technique determines a slow board redraw (delays when moving a piece or between the end of the piece movement and the subsequent board update). This problem can be usually fixed as follows: 1) open the Windows Display Properties (right click on your desktop and select "Properties"), 2) select the "Settings" tab (where you can change the screen resolution, color quality, ...), 3) press the "Advanced" button, 4) select the "Troubleshoot" (or "Performance") tab and 5) decrease the hardware acceleration by one step." No way to do something similar in wine. Propriety nvidia drivers are installed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
