Having a closer look at it, the program i'm running to run is mixed 32/64bit executables and libraries. The 32bit main program pulls in a 32bit library that wants to load 64bit QT dlls. Click NO to not preload defaults from another world. Add fake world name and IP address. Click OK. Menu File->Plugins... Click Add... select Aardwolf_Chat_Capture_mw.xml Expand the main output area and notice that display looks like the attached image. Attached is a demonstration of the problem. Top is Wine 1.0.1, which works fine. Bottom is Wine 1.2.1, which does not work. For reference, the C++ code from the program in question is available at http://github.com/nickgammon/mushclient/blob/v4.64/miniwindow.cpp on line 308 in CMiniWindow::RectOp under "case 5: // DrawEdge" I'm not sure what component is the issue. In-game the fps is much higher so this issue is only with the menus when not in-game.
