Once I got it running it took about two hours to get to the main menu, then when I tried to start a game, it just crashed all together. When it was starting up the audio was a bit faster than the video (which was slower than continental drift). The audio stabilized once the main menu appeared, but video still was far behind. The odd thing was my cursor was moving at normal speed. This error from Portal 2 looks like a more isolated case of the swath of errors I got trying to play Civilization 5's demo. It may be related to whitespace/comments that the AMD/ATI GLSL compiler isn't tolerating; but I'd like to collect more data that may be useful for the developers to isolate the problem in greater detail. fixme:d3d_shader:print_glsl_info_log Error received from GLSL shader #5: fixme:d3d_shader:print_glsl_info_log Vertex shader(s) linked, fragment shader(s) linked. IMO this is a critical bug because there are console tools with stdout output only (e.g. tr).
