[Bug 29553] New: Sonic R demo installer doesn't allow manually typing an installation directory
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 13, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29553 Bug #: 29553 Summary: Sonic R demo installer doesn't allow manually typing an installation directory Product: Wine Version: 1.3.36 Platform: x86-64 URL: http://www2.sega.co.jp/download/pc/sonicr/sonicr.exe OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: user32 AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: RandomAccountName(a)mail.com CC: aric(a)codeweavers.com Classification: Unclassified Regression SHA1: acaa0dc2dacb4d6e6f223213ce9a1e27b0b8e8ed When the installer for the Sonic R demo asks which directory to install to, typing the desired location manually doesn't work: the preselected directory text is deleted, but no new text is accepted. [Bug 29524] New: Firefox 9.0.1 crashes immediately
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 13, 2012

Jan. 13, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29524 Bug #: 29524 Summary: Firefox 9.0.1 crashes immediately Product: Wine Version: 1.3.28 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: wu.m(a)arcor.de Classification: Unclassified The windows program that I run under Wine creates HTML files locally and invokes Firefox (to be exact, Firefox for Windows, installed under Wine) to display them. This used to work well with Firefox 8.0. When Firefox upgrades itself to 9.0.1 (which it does for me since January 2012), I get a message The program firefox.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close... and the Firefox window is not opened. The terminal shows wine: Unhandled illegal instruction at address 0x1a4000b (thread 0025), starting debugger... I can then restore Firefox from a backup, and all is well for awhile. I encountered the problem with Wine 1.2; I am now running Wine 1.3 and the problem still exists. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 28391] New: winmm coreaudio driver broken
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Jan. 13, 2012

Jan. 13, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28391 Summary: winmm coreaudio driver broken Product: Wine Version: 1.3.28 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Mac OS X Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: blocker Priority: P2 Component: winmm&mci AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: kurtjaeke(a)gmx.de Created an attachment (id=36405) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=36405) Log of "WINEDEBUG=+winmm,+wave,+midi,+dsound wine THIEFG.EXE" The new winmm coreaudio driver is broken. I have tested so far: * the game "Portal" * the game "Thief Gold Edition" Every time the effects are the same. After some seconds, sometimes more, sometimes less, the sound and music stops. If in debug mode ("WINEDEBUG=+winmm,+wave,+midi,+dsound"), the game will freeze, otherwise, the game can be continued, but without sound or music. Another symptom is the "test sound" button in winecfg: the sound is "scratchy", as if on a gramophone record grooves are skipped. See log of "WINEDEBUG=+winmm,+wave,+midi,+dsound wine THIEFG.EXE" attached. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
