There's something wrong with character rendering in the game. You can reproduce the problem with the demo version as well, right as you start a new game. In the default camera angle you should see the whole body of the character from behind. Instead, only his weapons and a red tie can be seen. If you move the mouse to pan the camera, you can see his body projected on the ground (see the upcoming screenshot). It only shows the list of supported applications, and double-clicking an application's name will make its cleaner rules visible. Another double-click will hide them again. On Windows XP, it shows these rules by default, and nothing happens when double-clicking an application name. Same issue in 1.3.18, 1.2, 1.0.1, and 0.9.33.
