[Bug 31945] New: Printing to PDF convertors fails
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Oct. 16, 2012

Oct. 16, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31945 Bug #: 31945 Summary: Printing to PDF convertors fails Product: Wine Version: 1.5.9 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: tim(a)tim-passingham.co.uk Classification: Unclassified I have tried several Print to PDF converters under Wine 1.5.9 on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Several of them fail with the same error, as follows: Fixme:winspool:ScheduleJob can't schedule to port L"xxx" Where "xxx" is the port name. With "PDFill Writer" the port is PDFillWriterPort. With PDFCreator it is pdfcmon. Another program had the same problem. CUPS-PDF does not produce searchable text . I therefore tried various Windows solutions. PDFCreator has been successful for me under Windows in the past. It installs perfectly under Wine, and the configuration programs runs OK. It's just that when I print a report to the specified PDF Printer using, say, Access 2003 or even Notepad, I get the error above. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 31960] New: UPlay in Wine > 1.5.14 crashing
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Oct. 16, 2012

Oct. 16, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31960 Bug #: 31960 Summary: UPlay in Wine > 1.5.14 crashing Product: Wine Version: 1.5.15 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: winex11.drv AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: Manuel.Bihl(a)gmx.de Classification: Unclassified I patched wine to 1.5.15 today and now uplay starts up and freezes after a few seconds. There was no difference in how I set up wine, both versions were automatically installed via gentoos emerge (same useflags). I don't know exactly what causes this, but I assume it may be related to the changes in windowed mode. Anyways I think this is a regression since it worked flawlessly in 1.5.14 and I'll try to downgrade my wineprefix. I've attached the wineoutput (stripped the starting part which is the same as in 1.5.14 and related to the patcher not uplay). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 31943] New: Perfect World International Hangs
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Oct. 16, 2012

Oct. 16, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31943 Bug #: 31943 Summary: Perfect World International Hangs Product: Wine Version: 1.5.14 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: eli(a)orbsky.homelinux.org Classification: Unclassified Created attachment 42082 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=42082 Backtrace of PWI hang Hi... I think this an ntdll problem, because that's what the backtrace seems to indicate. But, I don't have enough background to know for sure so I'm catagorizing the component as unknown. Running Fedora 17 with 32bit wine 1.5.14 on an x86_64 with NVidia PWI hangs soon after I get in the game. So I run the game from the console with the following results. I can get in the game, but soon thereafter the game hangs. If I press [Ctrl][c] in the console that I'm running the game from I get an error dialogue box. I click on it and the game of course closes. However, the game seems to function for awhile, but soon thereafter hangs again. One time it took down the whole comuter :/ eeek. In any case, attached is the backtrace. Thanks for looking into this. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
