[Bug 24579] New: Steam windows move twice as far as they are moved
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Nov. 3, 2012

Nov. 3, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24579 Summary: Steam windows move twice as far as they are moved Product: Wine Version: 1.3.3 Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: winex11.drv AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: sheeettin(a)gmail.com (From bug 20865) Moving any Steam window by its own decorations (never the window manager's) often results in the window moving twice as far as it should. Dragging windows to a new position works fine, but on release of the left mouse button, the window jumps the same distance you moved it beyond where you moved it to. This effect occurs most often with short, jerky moves. Waiting before releasing the LMB may result in proper behavior. This bug occurs with or without a virtual desktop. However, WITH a virtual desktop, it DOES occur when resizing. (Without a virtual desktop, resizing works properly.) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 7425] gothic 2 gold installs without problems but will not start
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Nov. 3, 2012

Nov. 3, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7425 --- Comment #21 from joaopa <jeremielapuree(a)yahoo.fr> 2012-11-03 17:55:07 CDT --- Does gothic2 work with Vdfs32g.exe in a real windows box? If yes, there is a bug in wine about this binary. This bug report is unreadable. Different bugs are reported. Let us focus about Vdfs32g.exe if there is a bug in this binary. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 7425] gothic 2 gold installs without problems but will not start
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Nov. 3, 2012

Nov. 3, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7425 --- Comment #20 from Xavier Vachon <xvachon(a)gmail.com> 2012-11-03 17:44:21 CDT --- New results : I was able to load and run the game with the community fixes by removing the vdfs executables. - The vanilla version without the CP worked if I removed vdfs32e.exe - The CP version worked if I removed both vdfs32e.exe and vdfs32g.exe winetricks directmusic creates the following crash when I run the game with music either enabled or disabled. c: failed to initialize sound, MSS reported: Broken waveOut driver - 'buffer done' flag never set The console does not reveal anything unfortunately about the reason of this crash. It is therefore preferable to run the game without the override and music disabled. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7425 --- Comment #19 from Xavier Vachon <xvachon(a)gmail.com> 2012-11-03 17:02:59 CDT --- (In reply to comment #18) > Still a bug in current wine? Yes. I get crashes in Vdfs32g.exe all the time, despite using the GOG.com version and the community 2.10 patch. There is also a Vdfs32 patch for the game which I tested, the results don't change. I also tested with and without directmusic installed with winetricks, and with music enabled or disabled in Gothic.ini. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 2082] DirectDraw games only showing black screen
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Nov. 3, 2012

Nov. 3, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2082 --- Comment #102 from Saulius K. <saulius2(a)gmail.com> 2012-11-03 07:18:49 CDT --- (In reply to comment #101) > (In reply to comment #100) > > "NEW > > This bug has recently been added to the assignee's list of bugs and must be > > processed. Bugs in this state may be accepted, and become ASSIGNED, passed on > > to someone else, and remain NEW, or resolved and marked RESOLVED." > > > > But i still fail to understand how a bug that was reported in year 2004 has its > > status named NEW. > > I have been asking myself the same kind of questions. But it's the wine > project, they are beyond our logic. Quoting next item: "ASSIGNED This bug is not yet resolved, but is assigned to the proper person who is working on the bug." So combined this basically means there is still no proper person to work on the bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
