by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 11, 2012

Feb. 11, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27256 Summary: PDFCreator installer cannot display Chinese correctly Product: Wine Version: 1.3.20 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: fracting(a)gmail.com 1. Download PDFCreator from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/files/PDFCreator/PDFCreator%201.… ) 2. open the installer with wine: $ wine PDFCreator-1_2_1_setup.exe 3. click the "Choose language" menu, the last three item can not display correctly, all of them display as "口口口" I'm not sure that whether this is a duplicate of Bug 16325 - incorrect font rendering for CJK programs Fortunately, PDFCreator is open source, so even if it is a duplicate, we have a good test case. $ sha1sum Wine/pdf/PDFCreator-1_2_1_setup.exe 48fd60e5a677bd39b13e0188075e83137005259e Wine/pdf/PDFCreator-1_2_1_setup.exe -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 27902] New: Project64 1.7.x beta doesn't work anymore
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 11, 2012

Feb. 11, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27902 Summary: Project64 1.7.x beta doesn't work anymore Product: Wine Version: 1.3.24 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: thesource(a)mail.ru Project64 1.7.0.11 or higher (up to 1.7.0.50) doesn't work anymore in wine 1.3.24. It launches but exits without even showing any error or window. Wine doesn't print anything either. It seems Project64.exe throws exception and catches it, exits then silently. I generated log with WINEDEBUG=+seh, all. I found several raise_exception there and it seems that they are all connected to DIB engine. Hope this helps. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 29712] New: DInput doesn't support INFINITE effect iterations
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 11, 2012

Feb. 11, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29712 Bug #: 29712 Summary: DInput doesn't support INFINITE effect iterations Product: Wine Version: 1.3.37 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: directx-dinput AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: mahasler(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified Created attachment 38559 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=38559 Patch to make dinput effects support INFINITE. According to the DirectX reference, IDirectInputEffect::Start accepts INFINITE (aka -1) for the number of iterations. Some games actually use this. However, passing -1 to Linux via input_event results in no effect being played at all (at least for me). I've made a simple patch that sets the number of iterations to the maximum signed value allowed when INFINITE is passed. I think this should work in practically every case. Tested to work with Metal Gear Solid 2. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 24288] New: SR3D Builder Unhandled Exception in directx-d3d (therefore won't start)
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Feb. 11, 2012

Feb. 11, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24288 Summary: SR3D Builder Unhandled Exception in directx-d3d (therefore won't start) Product: Wine Version: 1.3.1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: danfoxdavies(a)googlemail.com Created an attachment (id=30595) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=30595) The debug output from trying to run an installed SR3D with DotNet 2.0 installed on Wine 1.3.1 SR3D Builder (see in the AppDB here: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=11802 ) is an LDraw based advanced 3D virtual LEGO construction and testing environment, currently still under development (this bug is valid as of version 0.5.5.2). This bug pertains to the fact that SR3D Builder will currently only install (and even then, questionably) when DotNet2.0 is installed via Winetricks, and that trying to run it results in a Directx-d3d related Unhandled Exception, the cause of which is most likely to do with SR3D's apparent dependence (according to its website) on the update at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=2da… , which itself does not install on WINE 1.3.1 I'd much prefer to be able to use this as the only LDraw app that is functionality-wise and user-friendliness-wise a viable alternative to Lego Digital Designer. I need to use LDraw-based apps from start to finish for the best and most efficient output on my models, complete with LPub instructions. However, I'd rather not have to purchase MS Window for the privilege. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
