With WINE 1.3.29 and later (tried with 1.3.34 and 1.3.35) it won't start. In both cases when starting the executable it prints: err:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo couldn't initialize OpenGL, expect problems err:d3d_caps:WineD3D_CreateFakeGLContext Can't find a suitable iPixelFormat. err:d3d:InitAdapters Failed to get a gl context for default adapter fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_desktop_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 8 However, with 1.3.24 it starts fine after that. Fallout 1 runs in 640 x 480 x 256 colors mode. With WINE 1.3.29 it displays a message box saying something like "cannot set 640 x 480 mode".
