[Bug 28634] New: d3d8/9 device tests crash on GeForce 6150 / 275.28 drivers
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org April 1, 2012

April 1, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28634 Bug #: 28634 Summary: d3d8/9 device tests crash on GeForce 6150 / 275.28 drivers Product: Wine Version: 1.3.29 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download, source, testcase Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: austinenglish(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified Noticed at Wineconf, Stefan asked me to upgrade drivers but the crash still occurs. I've narrowed the test down to test_fpu_setup(). The crash seems to be around this call (in d3d9): hr = IDirect3D9_CreateDevice(d3d9, D3DADAPTER_DEFAULT, D3DDEVTYPE_HAL, window, D3DCREATE_HARDWARE_VERTEXPROCESSING | D3DCREATE_FPU_PRESERVE, &present_parameters, &device); ok(SUCCEEDED(hr), "CreateDevice failed, hr %#x.\n", hr); the hardware is a bit old, so a test failure isn't unexpected, but a crash is nasty.. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 29815] New: Star Trek Online: Mouselook (hold right click) jumps all over
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org April 1, 2012

April 1, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29815 Bug #: 29815 Summary: Star Trek Online: Mouselook (hold right click) jumps all over Product: Wine Version: 1.4-rc1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-dinput AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: winehq.org(a)eternaldusk.com Classification: Unclassified In STO, the mouselook feature is completely unusable (both in space and ground modes). Holding the right-mouse button and moving the camera around causes the camera view to jump around erratically, commonly leaving you with a view looking directly down on your ship/person. This can make it very hard to play in space battles (you can't move the camera to see your angle to opponents); potentially suicidal in PvP. Tested on Ubuntu 12.04 Alpha 2, with Wine 1.4rc1. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 30301] New: Remove Notepad, WordPad, Internet Explorer, etc
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org April 1, 2012

April 1, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30301 Bug #: 30301 Summary: Remove Notepad, WordPad, Internet Explorer, etc Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: programs AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: Eldmannen+wine(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified Wine is a third-party implementation of the Windows API. It is *not* a reimplementation of the Windows operating system. Why does Wine come with built-in clones of Windows software components such as Notepad, Wordpad, Internet Explorer, etc? It should use the host platforms' native text editor, word processor and web browser. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 3962] Ragnarok Online + private servers
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org April 1, 2012

April 1, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3962 --- Comment #61 from prinzenrique <prinzenrique(a)gmx.de> 2012-04-01 14:18:47 CDT --- Created attachment 39638 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=39638 network strace trying to connect to euphro of course the connection times out because the name lookup seems to return a bogus IP adress. if you look up game.euphrogame.com yourself you see the correct adress is 69.65.12.3 not 97.109.101.46 like its shown in the traces. it usually works when you DNAT the bogus IP adress to the correct one the server is really running on. so here's the trace you asked for without any DNAT and with vanilla euphro files so it tries to connect to game.euphrogame.com -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
