[Bug 21128] New: Envisioneer 4.5 Express Setup fails to write various data files under Application Data for the "Public" user
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org May 11, 2012

May 11, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21128 Summary: Envisioneer 4.5 Express Setup fails to write various data files under Application Data for the "Public" user Product: Wine Version: 1.1.35 Platform: x86 URL: http://www.jumpjet.info/Win2k/05/Envisioneer_Express/E nvisioneer_4_5_Express_Setup.zip OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: arethusa26(a)gmail.com Created an attachment (id=25381) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=25381) Envisioneer 4.5 Express Setup output On Windows, after the Envisioneer 4.5 Express installer completes, there should be resource data files installed that belong to Envisioneer 4.5 Express located under %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Cadsoft\Envisioneer 4.5 Express. With wine-1.1.35-105-gd4a7a9d, however, only %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Cadsoft\Envisioneer 4.5 Express\Cadsoft.lic appears to have been installed. The missing data files result in the Envisioneer 4.5 Express application failing with: "No quick key definitions found" and later "Unable to load: C:\users\Public\Application Data\Cadsoft\Envisioneer 4.5 Express\Catalogs\Env4_5 Express Master Catalog.bdb" which result in the application hanging. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 30137] New: Depth Hunter unable to take photos without native d3dx9_36 (D3DXSaveSurfaceToFileA not implemented)
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org May 11, 2012

May 11, 2012

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30137 Bug #: 30137 Summary: Depth Hunter unable to take photos without native d3dx9_36 (D3DXSaveSurfaceToFileA not implemented) Product: Wine Version: 1.4 Platform: x86 URL: http://www.biart7.com/dh_demo.zip OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3dx9 AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: gyebro69(a)gmail.com CC: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Classification: Unclassified Depth Hunter is an underwater fishing game. The game starts and runs fine using only built-in d3dx9* dlls, but taking photos in the game doesn't work without native d3dx9_36. There is no error message or crash, photos are simply not saved. These messages are showing up in the console when I take a picture in the game: >fixme:d3dx:D3DXSaveSurfaceToFileA (0x32fa58, 0, 0x29e9520, (nil), 0x32f848): stub >fixme:d3dx:D3DXSaveSurfaceToFileA (0x32f858, 0, 0x2745b40, (nil), 0x32f838): stub Steps to reproduce the problem with the demo version: 1. winetricks mfc42 2. install the demo. At the end of installation choose to *not* to install DirectX. 3. start the demo with depthhunter.exe. Start a new game. While in the game press 'r' to bring up the photo camera and press the left mouse button to take a photo. Although the demo version lacks the in-game photo gallery feature, you can find the pictures in ~/DepthHunter/Photos directory. Pictures are in bmp format. Native d3dx9_36.dll is a workaround. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
