[Bug 9210] 3DMark06 doesn't recognize Pixel Shaders 2.0
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Sept. 16, 2013

Sept. 16, 2013

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9210 --- Comment #72 from Artem S. Tashkinov <t.artem(a)mailcity.com> 2013-09-16 16:06:21 CDT --- Other tests fail too. In console I have this: fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32d2c8,0x00000000), stub! fixme:hlsl_parser:hlsl_parse Check for valued return on void function. fixme:hlsl_parser:hlsl_parse Implicit conversion to the return type if needed, error out if conversion not possible. err:d3dcompiler:compile_shader HLSL shader parsing failed. It seems like shaders compilation support in Wine is incomplete. So, this bug can be safely closed then. With native d3dx9_36.dll 3DMark06 crashes, it's gonna be a new bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I installed with 'wisotool re5bench', which does 'winetricks wmp9' to work around bug 21939. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 15607] New: MyPhotoBooks doesn't run
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Sept. 16, 2013

Sept. 16, 2013

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15607 Summary: MyPhotoBooks doesn't run Product: Wine Version: CVS/GIT Platform: PC OS/Version: BSDI Status: NEW Keywords: download, Installer Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: xerox_xerox2000(a)yahoo.co.uk Hi, a user reported trouble with this app on userlist. First the installer suffers from infamous bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9628 Happily enough Aric posted a patch http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2008-October/062900.html a few days ago. After applaying the patch, the installer finsishes fine, but as the app doesn't run after it, it appeared the installation was not successfull in the end: a file MyPhotobooks.ini was missing, and that;s why the app crashes. I installed the app on windows, copied the lacking .ini file to wine, and the app starts just fine. I'll attach the +relay log from the installer. Looks like the offending line is here: 001c:Call KERNEL32.WritePrivateProfileStringW(00560118 L"Java Runtime Environment",0055fde0 L"Maximum Version",00560158 L"1.6",00560170 L"C:\\Program Files\\\\MyPhotoBooks\\MyPhot~1.ini|MyPhotoBooks.ini") ret=6054ef85 001c:Ret KERNEL32.WritePrivateProfileStringW() retval=00000000 ret=6054ef85 It fails, likely because of screwed up filename "MyPhot~1.ini|MyPhotoBooks.ini" My guess is, it's a bug in msi but i'm not 100 % sure -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 33646] New: Need help to remove installed Program - file corrupted
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Sept. 16, 2013

Sept. 16, 2013

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33646 Bug #: 33646 Summary: Need help to remove installed Program - file corrupted Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: arm64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: soibelrs(a)gmail.com Classification: Unclassified Using Q4Wine, I installed Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 from my original DVD. During the installation I had several difficulties, had to come back many times before everything came to place. - Having evaluated the Program, I decided NOT TO KEEP it. - Using Add/Remove Programs See screenshot on https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YEvMvdbdysIgeZNbOza0eaDvTv1v8TJWJOPAjQ-… The Setup file is corrupted or not available. I need some help, mMy question now is what can I do to safely remove this installation? Note: I checked the original disk, and I also have copy. The problem is that something went wrong while I was fighting to get this working. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Supplementary information, which is not relevant to this problem: Why I decided to remove MS Office Enterprise 2007? 1. WILL NOT READ NOR WRITE, can only use it on the screen. Clearly the error is on the filing system, MS Office demands Windows style filing, clashes with Ubuntu setup. 2. MY ORIGINAL DISK is OUT-OF-DATE from year 2007 my old computer Windows Vista. It would need a long update, which is not provided, including many bugs fixing. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
