Don't know if it's a bug in the installer, or an intended feature in the installer, or a bug in wine, but it's annoying enough that I figured I'd record a bug for it. Architecture: Tested on both Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 and i386 Frequency: Always Workaround: Copying both DVD images to disk and merging them into a single file allows for a proper installation that terminates correctly. This then results in the black geometry.
