One of the new feature of the update is a modification to the internal browser so that it loads faster. After restarting only the game library is usable, clicking any online option results in a blank page that loads indefinitely. I did not try to download anything from the steam client. What I find to be the most-odd is the scrolling of the mouse seems to be the only unaffected object in the lag. Unit movement, building/training queues, and resource/money updates (like when you first start level and starting money is added) all run slowly during mouse movement.
