The program installs correctly. After that I had to copy MSVCP120.dll and MSVCR120.dll to /drive_c/windows/syswow64/ , since the program was complaining those files were missing. After that there is an error message with a backtrace you can see on the text file attached to this bug report. Since the program uses QT, probably it's a simple thing to fix. Hope this helps. With wine-1.0-rc4 there is no luck to start Shogun. But with wine-1.0-rc5 (and now, with wine-1.0) Shogun starts well! But, frankly, that's all that it can. Now I can see Japan flag, starting credits and that's all. Shogun crashes when try to play video. There is log down here below. Also, you can run Shougn with some parameters. If you run it with "m" parameter (shogun.exe m), you can enter to multiplayer mode I think (just bypassing intro and menu). In this mode Shogun load one battlefield (i'm not sure about what battle is it). But you can look around battlefield, give some orders to troops, even fight with the enemy. It seems all plays very well. After pressing ESC you can leave Shogun. So, it seems only intro (or Start Menu) is not working. Battle engine plays well.
