I subsequently tried downloading Gecko using the instructions on https://wiki.winehq.org/Gecko i.e. wget http://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.40//wine_gecko-2.44-x86_64.msi and received the same error wget http://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.40//wine_gecko-2.44-x86_64.msi --2016-02-08 18:21:19-- http://dl.winehq.org/wine/wine-gecko/2.40//wine_gecko-2.44-x86_64.msi Resolving dl.winehq.org (dl.winehq.org) 103.245.222.69 Connecting to dl.winehq.org (dl.winehq.org)|103.245.222.69|:80... connected. HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 404 Not Found 2016-02-08 18:21:19 ERROR 404: Not Found. It would appear that the Gecko packages for 1.9.3 is not available on that site.
