I attempt to open battle.net and it comes up with an error that reads: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The program battle.net.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This can be caused by a problem in the program or deficiency in wine. You may want to check the Application Database (Which is gold if I remember correctly) for tips about running this application. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a note: Yesterday the program worked 100% fine for me. About 2 hours before the updates it worked fine. Then after I received the popup saying I had to restart battle.net it gave the error. I uninstalled wine completely, then reinstalled wine, which also uninstalled battle.net and now I can't even get into the installation process for it anymore. The launcher is required to launch games like Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch and Heros of the STorm. Bug #40905 is about another application needing the same method. Maybe the bug reports can be merged. I checked out the current git version and far from fixing the texture issue, Steam (latest version, presumably) itself now refused to start. I have done a regression test and identified the regression.
