All functions have been working fine with earlier Wine versions, too. The bug appears after running the program for a while. But it doesn't apperar always. I use this program every day and some days it crashes, sometimes not. Something has gone horribly wrong with window rendering in wine. The menus across the top of windows are vertically enourmous, possibly stretching infinitely beyond the screen. They can still be clicked on, and the text of the menu options will appear in a very normal font size near the top of the window and the menu will be highlighted in a colum that goes all the way from the top of the window to the bottom. I've tried to stretch the windows out to find the bottom of the exanse but it seems to just go on forever.
