[Bug 43473] New: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance mouse cursor auto-centers
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Aug. 14, 2017

Aug. 14, 2017

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43473 Bug ID: 43473 Summary: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance mouse cursor auto-centers Product: Wine Version: 2.13 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: si.an.hu.lo(a)gmail.com Distribution: Other Created attachment 58855 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=58855 Xinput related stubs listed Distribution is Antergos -- Since launching the game the cursor appears at the center of the screen, when you move the mouse, the cursor will move too but will rapidly move to the center again the problem is present: -before the main menu starts -in the main menu -in the menu while in-game +probably in-game while in-game there's no cursor so there'd be no easy way to make sure, however, the camera doesn't actually follow the mouse movement and behaves as the bug described, which makes playing the game with kb/m almost unplayable as one can't aim(in case of using a secondary weapon that is meant to be aimed) or move the camera accurately. The problem is likely related to the stubs attached. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. After Effects fails to start and presents an error dialog which reads ( at least what I can read froma screenshot) : After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was <36> <Dynamic Link> <5> C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\dynamiclink\CS6\dynamiclinkmanager.exe The error dialog is hidden behind the splash screen, so it might seem that the application just hung, but by displaying all windows ( 'Windows' key in Gnome ) I saw this error message. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 39370] New: Crash with Desperados: Wanter Dead or Alive
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Aug. 8, 2017

Aug. 8, 2017

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39370 Bug ID: 39370 Summary: Crash with Desperados: Wanter Dead or Alive Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 OS: Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: dqeswn(a)gmail.com Since bug 26875 is fixed I gave Desperados (gog.com version) a go with wineD3D again. Since there are no official builds I tried the ones here http://adolfintel.com/index.php?p=wined3d/index.frag (Tried the oldest and newest builds there) Although the bug was fixed I was greeted with a crash after I loaded the game. It happens as soon as I move the mouse. Also double clicking to load a game didn't work. So maybe something mouse related? Based on comments the maker of the builds also experienced the crash. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 43492] New: Improve 64-Bit exe error message
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Aug. 8, 2017

Aug. 8, 2017

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43492 Bug ID: 43492 Summary: Improve 64-Bit exe error message Product: Wine Version: 2.14 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: trivial Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: lavacreeper(a)hotmail.com Distribution: --- Here are the last 2 lines of the log I get when trying to run a 64-Bit EXE in Wine : err:process:create_process 64-bit application L"pathToExe" not supported in 32-bit prefix wine: Bad EXE format for pathToExe. These 2 lines tell me that there is an issue with the EXE, but only the first actually gives me useful information. The second is more confusing than anything. My suggestion is to remove it. This would mean the most important message would be more visible. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
