Hello! I was trying to see Second Life worlds, but most latest Firestorm viewer was for 64-bit Linux only, so i tried windows 32-bit version first. It worked, but a bit too crashy. Older x86 Linux version works without crashing, and 64-bit version in Slackware 14.2 chroot (Phoenix_FirestormOS-Releasex64_x86_64_6.0.2.56680) works too. So, I assume I have wine bug here .... -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42276] New: Firestorm Viewer does not started due to graphics card interface error
by wine-bugs＠winehq.org Aug. 1, 2019

Aug. 1, 2019

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42276 Bug ID: 42276 Summary: Firestorm Viewer does not started due to graphics card interface error Product: Wine Version: 2.0-rc6 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: artist(a)wavenet.org Distribution: --- Created attachment 56985 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=56985 Back trace file and terminal output file when newly installed Firestorm runs at the end of installation. Due to this issue with the compiled for Linux version of the Firestorm Viewer: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Discussion-Forum/Objects-I-cann… It became necessary to run the compiled for MS Windows version of the FireStorm Viewer under Wine. It was successfully installed both after in winecfg the installation was set to Windows 7 and also Windows 10 was tried. But the Firestorm installation does not run in either instance. The Firestorm installation file was downloaded from this link: https://firestorm-download-secondlife-com.akamaized.net/Phoenix-FirestormOS… On this web page: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/downloads The error messages indicate a problem with the graphics card. So I also attempted to install the Windows version of the graphics driver. This driver would not install when the installation file was set in winecfg to Windows 7 or Windows 10. The error message was that graphics hardware could not be found. The Windows 7 and 8 driver version was downloaded from: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/113442 The Windows 10 driver version was downloaded from: http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/113448# -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
