I've tested it in real windows and it got no error, but here in winehq we have some error! The error: Error: failed to read+write: .... and I looked at those file by 'wine explorer' they from "Properties->Security->Permissions for every one" I can see there is no write Access. When I ran the app for the first time I got an error. See the attached log. I was able to fix this problem by starting winecfg, clicking libraries, "New override for library: winhttp". Load order "Native(Windows)". The app started successfully. This program worked in past on Linuxmint under wine. This program generates a connection to a sttp:// adress for login. But the connection isn't succesfull. Instead an error message shows on console: 0009:fixme:winsock:WS_setsockopt Unknown IPPROTO_TCP optname 0x00000008 The software is proprietary and I can not modify it. Upon upgrading to rc2 (from the Fedora winehq staging repo) Origin, when launched, cannot connect to the servers and login to a user account. Immediately upon downgrading back to rc1-7.1 (from the same repo) the problem no longer exists. OS: Ubuntu 18.04.3 Tested wine: 4.21 up to 5.0~rc5 Steps to reproduce: - Install dotnet45, vcrun2008 and set windows version to 7 - Install SharpDevelop from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sharpdevelop/files/SharpDevelop%205.x/5.1/ - Create a new project/solution in SharpDevelop (any template works) - Type any text into the textbox (usually after 2-3 chars it crashes) With corefonts installed there's no crash. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. SharpDevelop 5.1 download: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sharpdevelop/files/SharpDevelop%205.x/5.1/ SharpDevelop requires: dotnet40 or higher and vcrun2008 Working with: 4.21-staging 5.0~rc1-staging 5.0~rc2-staging Not working with: 5.0~rc3-staging 5.0~rc4-staging 5.0~rc5-staging OS: Ubuntu 18.04.3 Log is attached with WINEDEBUG=+seh , the last 45 lines are printed when typing a character and the autocomplete popup opens. Every unity application I try to run results in "UnityCrashHandler.exe has encountered a problem." This is annoying.
