Compiling a 64 bit wine version with the previous patches for League of Legends (#47198 #47915) does not seem enough to run the game. Its crashing deep inside the anti cheat during initialization. I'm trying to track this down. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Trying to install an application I developed using the .Net 4.0 Framework which normally works on Windows 2003 and higher. When attempting to install, installer displays "The installer was interrupted before Test_Application could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again. Click Close to exit." Attached log. If I try to install dotnet40 using winetricks, setups seems to install my application, but does not work correctly. I prefer to use mono rather than dotnet40 as it's more stable. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 50940] New: Firestorm (viewer for Second Life) almost works, but its internal copy of Chromium crashes
by WineHQ Bugzilla April 10, 2021

April 10, 2021

https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50940 Bug ID: 50940 Summary: Firestorm (viewer for Second Life) almost works, but its internal copy of Chromium crashes Product: Wine Version: 6.0 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: nagle(a)animats.com Distribution: --- Created attachment 69750 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=69750 Fail with Wine 6.0 Firestorm viewer runs, 3D graphics and all, with good performance. Even audio works. But there are repeated crashes in "dullihan-host", which is a headless version of Chromium it uses when the 3D world needs to display web stuff. It's so close to working. I can use the 3D world, as long as I don't use any feature that invokes the internal web browser. Versions: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Firestorm 6.4.13 (63251) Mar 2 2021 18:51:46 (64bit / SSE2) (Firestorm-Releasex64) with Havok support Wine 6.0, recommended release version, downloaded from WineHQ. System info (this is while running under Wine 6.0) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor (3693.05 MHz) Memory: 34086 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit (Build 17763) Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 3070/PCIe/SSE2 Graphics Card Memory: 8192 MB Windows Graphics Driver Version: 26.21.0013.9135 OpenGL Version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 460.39 Installed Mono. Installed recommended Gecko files, I think. The MSI installer ran and exited silently for each. Same failure occurred with the Wine that comes with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Per Wine site, removed that and installed Wine 6.0, recommended release. Works with Wine 3.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on a different computer. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
