The problem also comes up when you change desktops while the window is flashing. No error logs are attached because there is no output in the console if the bug appears. To reproduce the crash: 1) Download QIP (e.g. at http://qip.ru/download/qip/?http://download.qip.ru/qip8070.exe ). 2) Start QIP. If it fails to start (this is a bug unrelated to this one), try this work-around: go to your QIP-Directory (should be ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/QIP), open current.cfg in your "Skins" directory, and replace "1" with "0". 3) Log on with your ICQ #. If you don't have one, you can easily register one with QIP in less than 30 seconds (you don't have to enter any email address). 4) Open the chat window, make someone send you a chat message, but before you receive it, change the desktop. 5) If you receive a message while you're on another desktop, the chat window will disappear. It complained, but showed the window. Now after trying to get PIN-code (CAPTCHA in fact), it showed this message (see screenshot): "AnalyzeHTML: Не обнаружено ни одной формы" (which means "no forms were detected"). The app is to read network operator's web site and find form fields and CAPTCHA. I'm attaching the log from terminal. Steps to produce issue: 1. Created a "Common Key.bin" file using Tools > Create Common Key and typin '45e'. 2. Selected Options > Change NAND Backup Path, and navigated to the desired folder. 3. Selected View > ShowMiiNand. 4. Right-clicked an item from the list, selected "Install", then "File", then selected a WAD file. 5. The main windows of this program contains a component of type System.Windows.Forms.StatusStrip with property GripStyle=Visible. Moreover, the main window contains a component of type System.Windows.Forms.ToolTip which is connected with some other GUI component (which is a simple button in this demo). The compiled exe file is attached. If it is executed on a Windows system, the status strip shows a grip which can be used for resizing the window (additionally to the actual borders of the window). Moreover, the tooltip attached to the button works as expected. If the same exe file is executed on a Linux system as described above (i.e. Wine using the original MS .net 4.0 framework), the behaviour is different. The status strip does not show an additional grip. However, the position where the grip should be diplayed is sensible to mouse actions. But it does not cause resizing of the window but some strange resizing effect on the other GUI elements of the window (in this demo on the button). Moreover, the tooltip attached to the button steals the focus from the window (this is in particular a problem for text edit boxes as clicking on the box leads to the tool tip stealing the focus from the edit box, so you cannot really enter text...). By the way, the tool tip which is attached to the status strip element works fine (but this is not a connected element of type Forms.ToolTip but is implemented by the StatusStrip itself...). The same executable using the same .net framework behaves in different ways, depending on whether this is run on windows or on linux using wine.
