In Windows if dragging the open file dialog to a new location, on the next time it is opened it will be opened at the same location. In Wine it is always opened at the top left corner of the application. This is quite inconvenient on a big screen with maximized app. Note that when resizing the dialog, wine does remember the size on the next open so hopefully the position could be a slight extension to this. In Notepad under Windows these sequences will do nothing. In Notepad under Wine these sequences will cause the character to be added to the document. Perhaps it is related to 'TranslateAccelerator' API but this is just a guess. The real problem is with 'Notepad++' where these sequences are the default accelerators for zoom control so chars are added to the document whenever zoom is changed. When running the install with the command "wine start /unix '/run/media/mark/USB DISK/Paintshop Pro/Paintshop Pro Ultimate 2018/psp2018_ult/Setup.exe'" the install crashes while on the fist screen of the setup that announces the installation wizard is starting. Perhaps a newer version of Wine would fix the issue. I also have different versions of Paintshop Pro that I could try as I have been using it under Windows for years. I am extremely new to Wine after trying in a it back in 1997 so I might be able to fiddle and get the install to run. I am running OpenSuse Leap 15.2 and installed their package of wine with command, "zypper install wine." In WINE 3.3, it's orange-red and almost unreadable. The attached message repeats endlessly in the log. Perhaps this issue is also related to blur shaders in some DX11 games (e.g. Dirt 3) being too strong. There seems to be a trend of "too much".
