It appears from the .NET backtrace, that speechsynthesizer.SetOutputTotDefaultAudioDevice is at fault. After playing around, we can reproduce the crash in a C# application with the following lines ... System.Speech.Synthesis.SpeechSynthesizer synth = new SpeechSynthesizer(); synth.SetOutputToDefaultAudioDevice(); ...
