When I enter a Japanese message using IME(kana-to-kanji conversion), I can type and covert kana letters to kanji(by ubuntu Mozc IME). However, when I press enter key to select one of the conversion choices, the text which should be entered in the message entering area almost always disappers. It sometimes succeeds but it is only one out of ten tries or so. I usually use Text Editor (of Ubuntu) to enter Japanese text and copy and paste it to LINE. This text does not render correctly when using Wine to run the English Version published by Dangen Entertainment on Steam. Instead, two boxes with X marks are shown. This issue is peculiar to the English version. The text correctly renders in the original Jaapanese release, as well as in the sequel (also published by Dangen). The difference appears to be due to the use of different encoding - Dangen's version of Vestaria Saga uses glyphs from the Full Width Latin Capital Letter Unicode block (U+FF28, U+FF30) for the HP label, while other versions and games use a simple ASCII string. The attached patch fixes the compilation error by adding conditional pre-processor statements around them.
