For reference, please see: https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=30847&p=116945#p116945 (I'm wineink) Towards the end of the above thread I posted terminal output as well as screenshots. Disabling Windows Firewall, as well as deleting the inbound/outbound rules in Windows, deactivates my license. Re-enabling the rules and Windows Firewall reactivates my license. Since this functionality doesn't exist in Wine, Wine hasn't to my knowledge implemented Windows Native Firewall Rules, it's impossible to register/activate my legally purchased license in Wine. I visited https://www.office.com/ After logging into that page, I am then allowed to download the OfficeInstaller.exe. Selecting and downloading the installation file beforehand ensures that the Office installation is bound to the account during installation. The Office products Excel, PowerPoint etc. are activated accordingly. Within the menus, however, it is noticeable that you are apparently not logged in after all. The button Log in appears where the name of the account should actually be. If the subscription expires, the Office installation notices it. Hints appear that you should use the subscription (activate it) again. If the subscription was renewed from the Office.com site, the Office installation will not notice it. If I open Excel, for example, I now have three options: Login, Buy, Enter key. If I choose Login, a window opens where I can enter my e-mail address on a Microsoft page. After entering it I should get to the next menu item where I can enter my password. But the window there is empty. In Windows 10/11, the SavePicture method saves in "24-bit color" even if the display's color setting is "32-bit color". In Wine, if the display's color setting is "32bit color", the picture is saved in "32bit color" and the Windows software throws an error. In Debian, for some reason, it is saved with the value "0". I tried this WINEDEBUG=warn+file wine64 cmd.exe Z: dir and there is something more explicit 0108:warn:file:get_mountmgr_fs_info failed to retrieve filesystem type from mountmgr, status 0xc000000e Invalid function. For that I right clicked Digit.exe & selected 'Open With Wine' in Dolphin. There was a crash. I want to supply the crash dump. I hope that dump proves useful & changes be brought in Wine so that the DVD can run on Linux in Wine. Runs well, BUT can not EXPORT. On windows Export pops up window with about 6 options. On MX Linux and Wine, only option is DAE. When try to run Extension Manager, which would install a STL converter (among other things) it crashes. So you can not install the Ruby extensions to export in STL format, for 3D printing. The problem can be worked around with native d3dx9 (specifically d3dx9_41.dll and d3dx9_31.dll). Previous bug reports about HLSL_IR_LOOP (#38583, #55083) maybe these could be merged. To reproduce: - The included vcredist_x86.exe must be installed. - Try to start any race. E.g. "Open Practice" or clicking "Start" after choosing "Driving School". - There might be an issue with the game complaining about low video memory. Not a Wine issue but reported by Windows users too. To work around edit Config.ini switch VIDEODRIVER=0 to VIDEODRIVER=1 and rerun the configuration tool. This game was confusingly previously reported as working, but I don't think this is a regression. The AppDB results are most likely from the older retail version and not the Steam re-release.
