Frame Sync failed repeated indefinitely (but file size was 125 MB), so I erased most of those lines. Wine screen freezes when playing certain audio files. It seems to be either non-MPEG2 files or audio files that don't conform to 24k bps or 22050 Hz (any audio under this classification seems to be fine). The specific audio file that was used to replicate the crash was: MPEG 2.5 / 8k bps / 8000 Hz. I've tested out other Wine versions, and Wine Stable 3.0 has the same error, along Wine Staging 3.6, 3.7, 3.8. I have attached my patch. I tried WINEDEBUG=+odbc but could get much relevant output. Most interesting is probabaly this: trace:odbc:SQLAllocEnv Returning 309, EnvironmentHandle 00000000 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="odbc32=b" or "odbc=b" didn't change anything as far as I can tell. If I downgrade the package it immediately starts connecting again. The driver I use is the proprietary SQL Anywhere 17 odbc driver. It works fine using unixodbc with both linux x86_64 and linux 32 bit applications. Is there any way I can provide more relevant information? The regular lower keys are ok, but example, ö produces ü, # produces ä, etc. Looking at dlls/winewayland.drv/wayland_keyboard.c, I saw that there are different lookup tables for different languages (scan2vk_qwerty, scan2vk_azerty. scan2vk_qwertz, ...), so my first quess was that something might be switched there. But that doesn't really seem the case, changing it to always use `scan2vk_qwertz ` regardless of `lang` makes it work. I don't really have a very good understanding of how this is supposed to work, but does the appliaction really need to do such a translation? Isn't that already handled by the layout being passed in? The console .exe only has one function, no GUI or anything. The console application basically obfuscates a file. Command: ConsoleApp.exe FileName.dylib I have tried Wine (stable or development builds) and while I can run the console application fine, and it exits with "Success", the problem is the output file that is ran using Wine on Linux has a slight difference compared to the output file that was ran using the same .exe but on Windows. After investigating the console .exe program, we found out that the whole problem was due to a piece of code in the .exe "ftell function". Wine apparently doesn't support it? Or something similar because if we compare the two output files, the only difference is in here: http://i.imgur.com/vghTN2X.png Left is Wine on Linux (Ubuntu) and Right is normal Windows OS output file. I've been playing an old game (Dark Age of Camelot) for years now on free servers, but I noticed there is a slow memory leak as it runs. I ran 'top' and watched the RES memory creep up to 1.0 GB and then hit about 1.2-1.3 GB before the game crashes. On WINE 8 this issue seems to persist as well. So I went back and bisected the bug and it occurs between WINE 7.3 and 7.4. In 7.3, I don't get the memory leak and the game plays for hours, but in 7.4 I get the memory leak. I've narrowed it down to this commit: https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/ee12556960e30fc22f276d2de2833e… It might have to do with the code change in the function wined3d_context_gl_destroy_bo that introduced this. Now go into the game, configure the wheel and notice force feedback does not work. Downgrading to Wine 5 (The latest previous version available before 7 on my system) works without issue. My laptop has two screens, the top one has a resolution of 2560x1600 (which is correctly detected by the Wayland driver). The bottom one is a resolution of 2560x1100. On X11 the image is scaled properly on the top screen but the detected resolution is wrong (it detects the top screen as 3840x1400). Specs: Laptop: Asus Zephyrus Duo 2023 CPU: 7945HX GPU: 4090M RAM: 32 GBs DDR5 Driver: NVK Distro: Garuda Linux Wine Version: wine-9.1-73-ge607da943aa (Staging) DE: Plasma 6 with Apps Scaled By The System selected.
