Another issue is that when WINE users are hosting, Windows users will eventually get badsync errors and disconnect after 10 bad synchronization attempts, but I have not seen other WINE users receiving badsync errors. When Windows users are hosting, WINE players do not receive badsync errors. One map which causes the "CRC error in DIFF!" for Windows players when attempting to join a WINE hosted server is the "Beyond The Waterfalls" level of the "Teotihuacan Map Pack". -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. This differs from XWayland where a R_ALT keypress is sent through unmodified for the "us" layout. The line in question has a comment mentioning that this should only happen when KLLF_ALTGR is specified. I'm not sure, what changed (maybe Wayland changed rules a bit?), but I've got both Diablo 1.0 and Worms World Party 1.01 working almost with no issues using stable Wine 10.0 without any big hacks. In the default fullscreen mode both games still only render black screen, but after enabling Wine's virtual desktop both games are usable in windowed mode. You can then use Valve's Gamescope to upscale them from the windowed mode to fullscreen and you even get flawless Alt+TAB behavior. This way you can also use AMD's FSR for upscaling, apply CRT shader or use integer scaling, if needed. In Diablo the menus are only re-drawn on mouse move, but that is possibly a different bug. In Worms it seems that the menu is running faster than it should (clouds in the background are fast), but the rest seems to be fine.
