[Bug 58719] New: Wagotabi crashes on wine-10.15.
by WineHQ Bugzilla Nov. 28, 2025

Nov. 28, 2025

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58719 Bug ID: 58719 Summary: Wagotabi crashes on wine-10.15. Product: Wine Version: 10.15 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: hibbsncc1701(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- Created attachment 79320 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=79320 Console log The game Wagotabi (Steam AppID: 2701720. Uses Unity Engine) doesn't work under wine-10.15. Attempting to start the game in a clean prefix results in the game crashing with a black screen instantly on start up. Installing DXVK into the wine prefix gets the game to show it's company logos, but it then runs into https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49028. Attempting to use -force-vulkan or -force-glcore Unity cmdline args results in the common UnityPlayer error: InitializeEngineGraphics failed. So the game lacks support for any alternative renderers. A demo is available on steam for anyone wanting to try this. Strangely, the game's store page claims it's Steam Deck Verified. So I guess proton is compatible, but I've only tested Wine, so I can't vouch for that claim. Console log attached. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 59034] New: Client area of CLM Explorer main window is rendered completely black on startup
by WineHQ Bugzilla Nov. 28, 2025

Nov. 28, 2025

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59034 Bug ID: 59034 Summary: Client area of CLM Explorer main window is rendered completely black on startup Product: Wine Version: 10.19 Hardware: x86-64 URL: https://www.tmsware.com/SetupCLME.exe OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download, regression Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: win32u Assignee: wine-bugs(a)list.winehq.org Reporter: arethusa26(a)gmail.com CC: pgofman(a)codeweavers.com Regression SHA1: 8d7de32cd646f3d1f118836e643e6146c9837278 Distribution: Fedora Created attachment 79782 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=79782 CLM Explorer debug output With wine-10.19, after starting CLM Explorer, the client area of the main window appears to be completely black. To work around this issue, I had to explicitly minimize the window and then restore it. This problem did not occur with wine-10.10. Regression testing identified the following commit: 8d7de32cd646f3d1f118836e643e6146c9837278 is the first bad commit commit 8d7de32cd646f3d1f118836e643e6146c9837278 (HEAD) Author: Paul Gofman <pgofman(a)codeweavers.com> Date: Tue Jun 24 20:29:28 2025 -0600 win32u: Respect STARTF_USESHOWWINDOW in show_window(). I also observed an issue that may be related. If I try to take a screenshot of the main window with incorrect rendering by requesting the Spectacle tool to capture the active window, I get the following error: An error occurred while taking a screenshot. KWin screenshot request failed: Invalid window requested Potentially relevant information: - Method: CaptureActiveWindow - Method specific arguments: QMap(("include-decoration", QVariant(bool, true))("include-shadow", QVariant(bool, true))("native-resolution", QVariant(bool, true))) Also, when running CLM Explorer with a virtual desktop enabled, I notice that the main window starts in a minimized state. I have to restore it in the virtual desktop to interact with it. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. [Bug 58800] New: tlReader 10.1.0.2004 toolbar has broken rendering
by WineHQ Bugzilla Nov. 28, 2025

Nov. 28, 2025

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58800 Bug ID: 58800 Summary: tlReader 10.1.0.2004 toolbar has broken rendering Product: Wine Version: unspecified Hardware: x86-64 URL: https://web.archive.org/web/20251013233829/https://tsh wanedje.com/builds/2004/tlReader_10.1.0.2004.exe OS: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: download Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: comctl32 Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: arethusa26(a)gmail.com CC: zzhang(a)codeweavers.com Regression SHA1: 541d9be5ecda1bc0c8fce22f1318bf5d72572327 Distribution: --- Created attachment 79445 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=79445 Broken toolbar rendering With the latest master (wine-10.16-212-g6124fea1dde), when loading the Manx-English dictionary (available from https://tshwanedje.com/downloads/files/Manx_English_Phil_Kelly_Dec2014.zip) the toolbar at the top of the tlReader application appears to have some rendering defects. Specifically, the background color of the toolbar has a darker color, and there is a stray horizontal line that is visible and appears to intersect the tops of the toolbar icons. Additionally, hovering the cursor over the icons results in a blue box that is drawn around a hovered icon but is not cleared when the cursor leaves the icon. With wine-10.16, the rendering of the toolbar seems to be more correct. The background color apparently resembles the color on Windows 10, no stray horizontal line is visible on the toolbar, and hovering over the toolbar icons with the cursor results in a blue box being drawn around a hovered icon that is cleared when the cursor leaves the icon. These behaviors are consistent with what is seen on Windows 10. Regression testing identified commit 541d9be5ecda1bc0c8fce22f1318bf5d72572327, which implemented the final modifications needed for comctl32 separation, as the change that introduced the broken toolbar rendering. However, it's not clear if the toolbar rendering issue is a new introduced problem or if it was previously hidden and now exposed with the comctl32 separation. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
