If I downgrade to wine-9.1-1.fc40.x86_64 the application works once again. I also have a very simple tool that decodes Cisco level 7 ascii passwords - useful when I forget what I assigned an account - that works on version 9 but not 10. (I've tried to file this regression a few days ago, but cannot find it anywhere on "My Bugs" or anywhere on this site. When the window is on the right monitor that continues, so the menus are not shown, since they are likely drawn off screen. Setting the left monitor as primary fixes this as a workaround. (full log attached). The issue occures also with wine-staging-10.19. The issue doesn't occur with wine-10.18. After selecting "Ok" following message appears: "Failed to activate the Bonjour service." Only once i got no messages/errors with wine-staging-7.18 in 10-15 attempts. Downgrade wine-staging to v7.17 solves the problem. However, trixie-backports currently ships Linux 6.17 with ntsync [1]. Alternatively, the ntsync kernel module is trivial to build with DKMS [2]. While retrofitting kernel-side ntsync is easy on Trixie, adding it to wine itself requires building from source. Wine users would benefit from ntsync-ready WineHQ binary packages, as they would facilitate ntsync access. This would only require including ntsync.h when building the WineHQ packages for Trixie. That means that if you support Intel Arc GPUs as GPU option, you automatically support DXVK as well ( because Wine uses kernel driver as-is, correct? ). That meanst that not accepting buzilla bugs with DXVK is wrong/offernsive/unfriendly.
