Also, I know the maintainers of Bugzilla encourage reporting only one problem per bug. That being said, the exact same time this started happening, my existing Wine prefix for Battle.net (and my Battle.net games) caused thread crashes when opening Battle.net after installing yesterday's update. The update was installed from within the Battle.net client by clicking the green icon to install the update. Prior to this update released yesterday on November 30, 2023, Battle.net and the games were running flawlessly. Pressing ESC closes the game (with the full-screen, black window), and I can see the attached output in my terminal. I should be able to switch to another desktop and get a debug trace when the black game window is on the screen, if you'd like me to do that. I'm using 375.26 of NVidia's drivers. The game cannot be played. I tried Wine 9.0 and the result is the same. I also tried Wine 8.0.1 but there is an unimplemented function. I am guessing that this is not a regression. Work around is to use an emulated desktop. This work around also fixed an issue where nothing is drawn when disabling full screen mode within the game.
