These maps was playable earlier. And playing on maps that can be started game often occasionally crashes. Discussion of AppDB issues sometimes takes place on wine-devel, but few maintainers subscribe to that mailing list, and the issues are generally not of interest to developers. This is a feature request to add a mailing list for AppDB admins and maintainers, as discussed at WineConf2017. Posting to the list should be limited to those groups, but the posts should be archived on winehq.org and visible to anyone. This time I was surprised by a constant 30FPS lock, despite the fact both my game of choice settings and the external tools profiles for its executable didn't have one (indeed if I removed wine's dlls, native d3d9 could easily get almost 10 times as much framerate) Long story short, after some time banging my head I figured this was happening because "Background Application Max Frame Rate" was enabled in the nvidia control panel. Problem being of course that a foreground fullscreen window definitively isn't supposed to be affected by that. Even after I manage to pass the challenge, I get a error page telling me I didn't specified the Wine version for the screenshot, but it's quite obvious what's happening here: the CF challenge is getting in the way, eating the POST'd form data (including the screenshot itself!), and after getting past the challenge, screenshots.php receives no data at all, so it errors out with the first missing piece of information it can find, I guess. This is a very weird place to put a challenge, since it effectively breaks the workflow, and furthermore, I noticed WineHQ is migrating away from Cloudflare challenges to Anubis (which is more tolerant with non-mainstream browsers), but somehow this one slipped down the cracks. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
