I am trying to run a windows executable under wine. I get the following error: Error in RPC::Firewall blocks events. I ran my app with RPC logging enabled, and I found this error: fixme:hnetcfg:fw_manager_IsPortAllowed I traced this back to dlls/hnetcfg/manager.c to confirm that the fw_manager_IsPortAllowed function is not implemented. What is the recommended way to work around this issue? Would it be unreasonable to update that function to just return allowed = true? Is there a way to simply bypass or patch that function at runtime rather than changing wine source? Recommendations welcome. The Dialog includes a radiobutton pair for setting the direction of search to be either Up (with U underlined) or Down (D). On Mac OSX, pressing Cmd+U to set the radiobutton only selects the label, but does not actually make the radiobutton be checked. However, the original behaviour on Windows does check the radiobutton. Therefore, the radiobutton has then to be made active either by using the mouse, or using the Space key. The attached screenshot shows the state immediately after pressing Cmd+U. However, if I lower the sampling rate from 96000 Hz to just 48000, it works again. There has been no change to my system whatsoever besides this update to Wine. This sampling rate and beyond have always been supported by both my hardware and software, so I dunno what's going on here. Looking at the changelog, the most related change I can find is related to bit depth, which's not configurable in Neko Project, only the sampling rate. Plus, these changes were only done to the winepulse driver, not winealsa, which is the one I'm using. However, recompiling Wine to use only the PulseAudio driver instead of the ALSA one makes it work again, somehow.
