When I try to use any program that uses DirectX 9, it only shows a black screen (programs like photoshop, emulators), some programs open but they have a very messed up layout. I know it is a problem with Wine 9.16 because I downloaded a Wine 8.21 AppImage and everything works fine, photoshop can display the images, emulators will display things using DirectX 9 normally and any other program that has a messed up layout also works fine. I also have another computer that has an offboard GPU that supports Vulkan, for this one Wine 9.16 and DirectX 9 on Vulkan just works like a charm. Makes any sort of multitasking in completely impossible until the game in question is closed. In certain games, like Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, the inverse is true; while mouse can be used in external apps, doing so completely shuts down ALL in-game input, whether by gamepad or mouse and keyboard, requiring a force-close and restart to restore normal functionality. Expected Behavior, circa Wine 9 and earlier: Game relinquishes mouse cursor control when switching between currently-running apps, allowing for normal mouse control. This is my first Linux computer and I'm honestly lost on what is happening. I've tried fixing it myself but have had no luck. Started after I had battle.net installed, had it working and then had it not work the next day when I was trying to get diablo IV set up. It's now gotten to a point were I have a battle.net program running that I've tried to uninstall multiple times. The wine unistaller isn't working , and I'm getting this error. I'm also unsure on how to bring up the rest of the error log, so I only pasted what I can get into the attachment. Other than that, Legacy DirectX Games is starting without problem. (but weave deinterlacing. why?) Resetting the prefix didn’t make a difference, and since I have no idea how to fix this, I’m at a loss. It looks like ntdll is causing the problem, but to be honest, I'm not really sure what's going on.
