Owner-drawn buttons (BS_OWNERDRAW, style 0x5001000B) inside this window visually depress when clicked (WM_LBUTTONDOWN is delivered) but the BN_CLICKED notification (WM_COMMAND) is never sent to the parent window on mouse release. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install SolidWorks 2025 in a clean wineprefix 2. Open a part and enter sketch edit mode (e.g., draw a circle) 3. The PropertyManager sidebar displays controls inside a "Dve sheet" window (10000x10000) 4. Click any owner-drawn button: the confirm checkmark, cancel X, or circle type selectors Expected: Button fires its action (BN_CLICKED sent via WM_COMMAND to parent) Actual: Button visually depresses and releases but no action occurs Additional observations: - Standard buttons in normal-sized windows (Command Manager toolbar, viewport overlay buttons) work correctly - Text fields, dropdowns, and checkboxes in the same PropertyManager panel work - A custom window inspector confirms the buttons are BS_OWNERDRAW (style 0x5001000B) children of the "Dve sheet" window - Manually posting WM_COMMAND with BN_CLICKED to the button's parent via an external helper process makes the buttons function correctly, confirming the parent is listening for the notification This suggests the issue is in Wine's button control or mouse capture handling when the owning window has very large dimensions (10000x10000). Hello everyone, I am the AppDB maintainer of "Capitalism 2" a business strategy game which has some issues I would like to point out. The initial issue during tests some releases ago was that mouse control wasn't working but a staged patch could be applied which fixed the issue and got integrated into main wine. https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/tree/master/patches/dinput Unfortunately a new issue has sprung up in the game which is that when I move the mouse it has some redrawing issues and paints the background. The attached log file shows the wine debug log, when - the usb dongle is attached to the host, lsusb shows this line: Bus 003 Device 005: ID 0529:0001 Aladdin Knowledge Systems HASP copy protection dongle - and volocity 6.3 and its "license server 2.2.1." are installed in a new WINEPREFIX. The issue is a recursive call to ceilf. This affects just the 32-bit build, where it looks like ceilf is just an inline wrapper in the header file for the function ceil. But for some reason llvm-mingw/clang replaces the call to ceil by ceilf, therefore causing the recursion. Adding `EXTRADEFS = -fno-builtin` to dlls/ddraw/tests/Makefile.in fixes this issue for here. Or is this caused by me using the `{i686,186_64}-w64-mingw32-gcc` wrappers instead of the clang binary? Can someone else confirm this? I have included the register dump and the Terminal listing as attachments. I have tried to install Wine many times and it always fails at this point. I installed Wine as follows: sudo apt remove wine* && sudo apt autoremove sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wine/wine-builds sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install --install-recommends winehq-devel When I tired to install Bicycle Bridge (setup.exe) I got windows saying to install "mono" and "gecko". I clicked the install button in each of these windows. After the failed install, Bicycle Bridge ran fine until my wife won a game. Then it froze and had to be xkilled. This is repeatable.
